Do you want to carry your baby but you don't know how? Are you overwhelmed by the vast amount of different baby carry systems and like to try some before buying something you may regret later?
I am Mona Näpflin, mother of three wonderful children. I wanted to carry my first daughter from the beginning. Unfortunately my midwife was not a great help and after some clumsy attempts with a woven wrap I quickly chose a Manduca. It was only after the birth of my second daughter that I found out about babywearing consultants and emerged into this exciting and rewarding field of babywearing. In Autumn 2014 I started my courses to become a professional babywearing consultant at ClauWi. Several (advanced) trainings followed. In January 2016 I received my Certification. Now I am highly motivated to support you and your baby and to find out what suits you best. The personal consultation will take place at your home or at my house in Zurich Wiedikon - wherever you feel most comfortable. It takes 1 1/2 to 2 hours in which I give you some historical facts and anatomical background. I will show you a selection of baby carry systems (woven wraps, slings, Mei Tais, soft structured carries). You choose what's best for you and your baby and we will have plenty of time to practice, first with my dolls Finn or Lisa then with your baby. This session costs 120 CHF.
For Partner sessions I will charge 150 CHF. I have experience with twins, premature babies and parents and babies with special needs. If you want to start during pregnancy I split the consultation into two sessions of one to one and a half hours. One before the other after you giving birth. This option costs 150 CHF. If during the last trimester of your pregnancy your belly makes you more and more uncomfortable I can show you some techniques with a woven wrap that will give you great relief. This belly wrapping course takes about 2 hours and includes some theory and lots of practice. It costs 110 CHF. |
